In today’s London Telegraph, famed physicist Stephen Hawking is quoted thusly:
“God was not needed to create the universe.” In other words, according to the famous scientist, the Big Bang was the result of the inevitable laws of physics and did not need God to spark the creation of the universe.
I found this very appropos to everything I have been studying. Gary Renard in The Disappearance of the Universe says the very same thing. His book, which is a transcript of his conversations with “Ascended Masters” who visited him 17 times over nine years and explained to him in detail what the real meaning of A Course in Miracles is all about, is a must-read for any student of quantum physics, ho-oponopono, and the Course.
The basis of the Course can be summed up in what Hawking is saying: God has nothing whatsoever to do with the idle dream we are experiencing. Some might say this fact is unsettling or shocking, but after letting it sink in for a long time, I have found it quite the opposite. I experience it as very liberating. It is like a weight has been removed from my shoulders, I hope some of that feeling has reached you too.
